Wondering what to do with the kids in the Windy City this winter? We have some suggestions!
Play ball
Playing a sport can be self-fulfilling for kids. It teaches them how to be a team player. Whether it is basketball or tennis, ball games will allow kids to stay in shape and have fun in the Windy City!
Music lessons
Studies show that playing an instrument releases stress and improves your IQ. Piano lessons are the stereotypical instrument to practice as a kid, but they can try the drums or even a ukulele! Give them an instrument to look forward to playing when they get home.
Community service
Getting involved in your community is a wonderful way for your child to do something good in the Windy City. Whether it is volunteering at the local food and clothes closet, or cleaning up the shores of Lake Michigan, they’ll learn how to give back.
Let’s go outside
Vitamin D is so important for growing kids! This is their chance to roll around in the dirt and have fun. Get them off their electronic devices and outside in the Windy City. Being stuck in a classroom all day for five days a week can be overwhelming, let them get some fresh air!
Get them moving and grooving
Dancing is a wonderful way for your kids to express themselves while staying active. Luckily, Dance To EvOLvE has many dance studios in Chicago. Our classes range from tap and ballet to hip hop. We specialize in classes for kids as young as 14 months up to 12 years old.

If you’re looking for a hard core competitive dance class for your child this is not for you but if you want something easy and fun then sign up! Prices are very reasonable too!”
