Specializing In Children’s Dance Classes

Our progressive dance classes provide a challenging yet fun-filled environment for kids to constantly advance and grow in their skills. All toddlers and kids dance classes are great for boys and culminate in a much-anticipated annual spring showcase.

We offer the following classes . . .

Creative Movement Classes

Spend a magical time with your child while they learn to move to music and develop their motor and listening skills in a fun environment. This is an adult/child interactive dance class and caregivers and little siblings welcome. Dress code and dance shoes are not required for this class.

Two Style Combo Classes

Introductory dance classes that include tap, ballet, hip hop, or jazz and dance games. Classes are energetic, expressive, and fun so your dancer will learn dance basics in an age appropriate way. Each class includes both styles, and if applicable, dancers will change shoes in class with the teacher’s assistance.

Hip Hop Dance Classes

Our Hip Hop dance classes at Dance To EvOLvE are an exhilarating and dynamic experience for kids. With high energy and a fast-paced environment, this class inspires creativity and fosters a fun-filled atmosphere. As they groove to the beats, children enhance their coordination, musicality, and listening skills.

Getting Started

How to Register for Dance Classes at Nobel Rec Center

The only part of our program that we do not directly manage at this San Diego location is the registration and payment, which is taken online or as a walk in:

  • Walk in: Nobel Recreation Center’s Front Desk ( 8810 Judicial Dr, San Diego, CA 92122)

If registering for a kids activity in-person at the front desk, please see Nobel Recreation Center’s hours of operation and call in advance to confirm registration can be taken, as it can vary from posted hours.

Although payment is organized in semesters or sessions, classes are designed to be ongoing and progressive, continuing throughout the year. Simply re-register session to session. Enrollment is first come first served as places in class are not held. Learn more details about registration at this location.

Dance Class Schedule For Nobel Rec Center

Policies

Studio Policies

Registration and payment is the only part of our program that we do not directly manage at this San Diego location, which is taken online or at the Recreation Center’s front desk.

Class make-ups are allowed for:

  • Sickness
  • Family emergency
  • Being out of town.

Dancers have one month to make-up any missed class from the day they missed class. It can be made-up in any age appropriate class at any location (excluding Poway). Classes must be made up while you are registered in class and cannot be done in a dancer’s regular class. We appreciate an email prior to your make-up class so we can confirm the class has availability for an extra student. (We always want to maintain quality!) See schedule for make-up options. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes. 

For all classes where the Rec Centers in San Diego handle registration and payments:

Refund policy for the City of San Diego: The City of San Diego requires that refund applications must be submitted, using the City form, in person at the facility where the program occurs. Refunds will be processed in accordance with the following policy: (1) 97% of the registration fee – application submitted at least 3 calendar days prior to the first class meeting OR (2) 75% of the registration fee – application submitted less than 3 calendar days prior to the first class OR (3) No refund for requests submitted later than 24 hours after the first class meeting. Please note a 3% processing fee will be deducted from all classes. The city does not provide any credits to accounts or transfers of classes.
