Our progressive dance classes provide a challenging yet fun-filled environment for kids to constantly advance and grow in their skills. All toddlers and kids dance classes are great for boys and culminate in a much-anticipated annual spring showcase.

Creative Movement Classes
Creative Movement Classes

Spend a magical time with your child while they learn to move to music and develop their motor and listening skills in a fun environment. This is an adult/child interactive dance class and caregivers and little siblings welcome. Dress code and dance shoes are not required for this class.

Two Style Combo Classes
Two Style Combo Classes

Introductory dance classes that include tap, ballet, hip hop, or jazz and dance games. Classes are energetic, expressive, and fun so your dancer will learn dance basics in an age appropriate way. Each class includes both styles, and if applicable, dancers will change shoes in class with the teacher’s assistance.

How to Register for Dance Classes in Shaker Heights and Beachwood

Although payment is organized in sessions, classes are designed to be ongoing and progressive, continuing throughout the year.  Simply re-register session to session.

Registration and payment is the only part of our program that we do not directly manage at this Cleveland location, which is taken online through the City of Shaker Heights.

Upon registration, families are enrolled in auto-pay month to month unless the office is notified otherwise via email by the 25th of the month.

  • A one-time $25 sign-up fee with continuous enrollment. No other dance class fees throughout the year.
  • Cancellations must be received by the 25th of each month or prior to the next semester by emailing our office.

Monthly Auto-Renewal of $70.00 per 4-week month.
Billed on the 28th of each month.
(Prorated accordingly for 3 or 5-week months)

Registration Details for Kid's Dance Class

  • Although payment is organized in semesters or sessions, classes are designed to be progressive and ongoing throughout the year. Simply re-register session to session.
  • If paying at the front desk, credit cards, check or exact cash are accepted.
  • A dancer’s spot in the dance class is only secured with payment as enrollment is first come, first served through the location. No dancer can participate in a class without payment. You must re-register your dancer from session to session (or semester to semester) to secure their spot in the progressive dance class.

Studio Policies

For classes at Sha’Ran Studios and Mandel Jewish Center:

Upon registration all families are enrolled in auto-renewal* for their class from month-to-month until you notify the office otherwise via email. (Cancellations cannot go through the teacher.)

Monthly Auto-Renewal Registration: Dancers registration continues month to month until family requests to switch to semester enrollment or to cancel. Minimum enrollment is one month. Monthly tuition is processed on the 28th of each month (or closest business day) and is prorated accordingly for any 3 or 5 week months. 

All cancellations must be received through the office via email by the 25th of the month. There are no refunds after payment has been processed. 

For classes at Shaker Heights and Beachwood:

Please reach out to the Rec Center for more information regarding payment and registration policies.

For classes at Sha’Ran Studios and Mandel Jewish Center:

You will be notified by email if your credit card was declined. Please update the payment method on file prior to the 1st of the month to avoid a $25 late fee added to your balance.

If payment is not received by the first class of the month, your dancer will be dropped from the class and re-registration will be based on class availability with the $25 late fee.

Class make-ups are allowed for:

  • Sickness
  • Family emergency
  • Being out of town.

Dancers have one month to make-up any missed class from the day they missed class. It can be made-up in any age appropriate class at any location. Classes must be made up while you are registered in class and cannot be done in a dancer’s regular class. We appreciate an email prior to your make-up class so we can confirm the class has availability for an extra student. (We always want to maintain quality!) See schedule for make-up options. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes. 

For classes at Sha’Ran Studios and Mandel Jewish Center:

Upon registration all families are enrolled in auto-renewal for their class from semester-to-semester or month-to-month. If you wish to cancel the class, please email the office by the 25th of the month so your card won’t be charged for the next month. (Cancellations cannot go through the teacher.) There are no refunds after payment has been processed. Instead of canceling due to planned absences please take advantage of our flexible make-up policy. (See above.)
