Theme: Dancing Through The Decades
Location: St John Berchmans Youth Center, (2524 W Altgeld St, Chicago, IL 60647)
Time: morning/ early afternoon; exact times confirmed in April. Each show is 30-45 minutes.
Participation Deadlines: Early Bird Pricing 4/1, Regular Pricing 4/29
Tickets: $12 Online, $15 at the door. 6 & under are free.
*Participating dancers must be registered in classes from March-June.
Step 1: Understand What The Showcase Is
Little Stars. Big Smiles. Forever Fun Memories!
An event such as the showcase is often a ‘first’ for many families and their young dancer. Our showcase is a celebration, not a competition.
We want everyone feeling comfortable, confident and excited! Dance To EvOLvE has specialized in this age group since 2008. We create a fun, inviting, age-appropriate and non-intimidating showcase day for our dancers and families to remember.
When the costume is delivered in class in May, it will include an informational letter that will explain all the details you need. This includes: check-in times, costume care and instructions, hair & make-up tips, and safety procedures. Learn the benefits of performance and the showcase.
Tip: Be flexible and plan sleeping and meal times accordingly so we get the best out of our dancers. (Remember that class parents will have snacks.)
Step 2: Choose Your Experience Level To Secure Your Dancer's Costume

All dancers will be automatically enrolled in showcase, unless you need to opt-out during class. You need to let us know what experience level you want. Be sure to review the below policies before confirming participation.
Costume Information & Showcase Policies
* Access Sizing Charts Here, coming soon.
* After 4/29, a minimum $50 rush fee will be applied if costume is still available. (If you are a new student, contact us.)
* Costumes are chosen by the EvOLvE team based on age, appropriateness, cuteness, availability of styles/sizes, and budget.
* Everything is included with the costume (except shoes). You keep it all!
* Costumes are non-returnable and non-refundable.
* Please note that costumes are ordered in available sizes based on measurements taken in class, consequently families are responsible for any needed alterations.
* There are no refunds on showcase after confirming registration.
* Tickets are non-refundable. Seating is first come first served, except for the VIP showcase experience.
* Attendance is especially important April-June. Any student who misses 3 or more classes during showcase season will be evaluated for their readiness to participate in the showcase.
* For 3 years and up, dancers are checked-in with a trained class parent.

Step 4: Volunteer & Help Little Stars Shine
We can’t do it without you! Volunteer at our annual showcase to share in the experience. Volunteer positions will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
To secure your spot, all you need to do is log in to your Parent Portal and sign up for a volunteer role that resonates with you. Benefits are included, but vary based on role, see descriptions for more information. Once you sign up, you will receive more details regarding your position.

Step 5: Know The Important Dates
March 11-18: Performance outfit measurements will be taken in class. Parent/guardian initials are required on performance outfit sizing chart to confirm pricing option (Silver/Gold/Diamond) or opt-out of showcase participation.
April 29: Participation Deadline (minimum $50 Rush Fee begins)
May-June: Attendance in class is especially important so dancers can learn their dances with confidence.
Beginning of May: Teachers will post showcase choreography online so that students can practice at home.
May: Costumes will be distributed in class as they arrive throughout May. A letter will be included which will include all the details that you need to know about show day and discussed during parent meeting.
June 1: Annual Showcase Performance
June 3: Auto-enrollment continues into summer classes. Summer camps begin!
Step 6: Practice At Home
All teachers will film each class’ showcase dance so that your dancer can practice at home and build his/her confidence…and have some fun!
